Here’s the Difference Between Content Marketing and Social Media

The purpose of social media marketing strategies are to increase brand awareness among potential, existing, and targeted audiences. By encouraging activity and discussion around the brand, social media marketers increase brand awareness. Your social media marketing strategy should also list all of your existing and planned social media accounts along with goals specific to each platform you’re active on. These goals should align with your business’s larger digital marketing strategy.

The content you create should be working to achieve your organization’s top priorities. So your plan should also describe your organization’s overarching goals. If you haven’t already, create a content marketing strategy and plan for your association. Next, make it official by documenting it and sharing it with people in your organization.

Social media – as part of your marketing efforts – helps to promote, attract, sell, qualify, and retain customers. By replying to reviews across social media sites, and actively pursuing positive reviews, it will build your brand’s reputation online and positively affect your application rates over time.
